GARETH BALE SET TO BREAK ANOTHER WORLD RECORD

Wales international Gareth Bale could very well break another world record if the report from Spanish publication Marca is anything true.

The news outlet claims that English clubs Chelsea are willing to compete with Manchester United in a bid to lure Bale back to England.

Spain seem to be luring the best and most expensive players but it seems the English sides want to enter the big players’ transfer market again. After breaking Bale’s record to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus, the Red Devils could very much forced Real Madrid to release Bale this summer, particularly when their own transfer ban ends.

The Welsh superstar only signed a lucrative deal that would keep him in Spain for a long time few months ago but the report says that the Premier League giants would try as much as possible to sign him.

Before the transfer week closes next week, several Chelsea players are still waiting to see if the Blues would keep them. Forward Michy Batshuayi, midfielders Charly Musonda, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and shot stopper Asmir Begovic. Begovic wants more and could leave the outfit but they would be forced to bring another second choice player. There are reports that Tim Krul from Newcastle could be his replacement.

The decision over the players would largely determine the transfers that would happen during the summer as they would look at re-establishing themselves in Europe, going by the current form.

The club is likely to do away with veteran John Terry but German football legend Michael Ballack has asked that Chelsea keep the player for as long as they can.

There are still links to Spain and while the club on the other hand could sign Victor Lindelof as they search for central defenders to add to the aging backline.
